CITY BAND DANCE.
The City Band’s weekly old-time dance held in the Oddfellows’ Hall was much enjoyed by those attending. Dancing to excellent music provided by an old-time orchestra and with the floor in good order time passed all too quickly. The ladies’ committee served supper, after which Air Bradley contributed music for an extra. The prize-winners were: —Novelty Air Gilshnan; Monte Carlo, Air and Mrs Pellow; Gay Gordons. Airs Farmer and Mr A. Beattie; lucky door tickets, Miss AI. Rosanoski and Air Stewart. Air Gardner and Air Cooksley were Al.C.’s.
