JUMP TO DEATH.

RUSSIAN CHILDREN’S FATE. MOSCOW, Sept, 11. Four children, as the best pupils of nine years of age in Charkov, were rewarded with an aeroplane flight. The machine was encircling the town at a height of 7000 feet when the engine stopped. The two airmen, equipped with parachutes, jumped, each with two children in his arms. One parachute failed to open and the three were killed. The others landed safely.
