CUR RENT COAIPETITIONS,

Further progress has been made in the Foilding Golf Club’s competition games, several of them now being at an advanced stage. Surprises registered over the week-end. wore, the defeat of L. J. Carmine by AV. Seifert in the senior championship, Seifert playing good golf and going round in 78. J. B. Duthie. the club champion, narrowly escaped defeat at the hands of F. P. Fawcett, who was also aboye his usual form.

The following are the details of the competitions : Senior championship.—J. B. Duthie beat F. P. Fawcett, S. A. Gover beat L. M. Giesen, AV. Seifert beat L. J. Carmine.
