McCREADY BEATS BLOMFIELD. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 26. Rugged wrestling, relieved at intervals by more spectacular work, characterised the professional contest between Earl McCrcady. of Canada, and “Lofty” Blomfield. of New Zealand. The Canadian secured the decision by one fall to nil. Both contestants iorced tbe pace throughout, lively exchanges providing the crowded house with fine entertainment. The fall was a submission one gained by McCready after a particularly lively exchange in the seventh round.
