FAIR TO FINE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 20. An anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, with its centre over the eastern portion of the South Island. A slight depression is passing to the north of the Dominion, while a rather deep one is still located over southeast Australia. Forecast: Moderate to strong, but decreasing, south-east winds, veering to esaterly and later to northerly. Weather: Fair to fine, but a few coastal showers. Seas rather rough. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—3ft.
