THE BLACK BALL TRAGEDY. INQUEST TO BE RESUMED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. July 19. The inquest into the circumstances of the death of Margaret .May Smith, who died at Blackball on September 24, as a result of eating poisoned chocolates which had been posted to her, will he resumed at the Greymouth Courthouse on Monday, July 29. Simultaneously with the inquest a man will he charged with the murder of Miss Smith, and also two. charges oi attempted murder of .Miss Ethel Bragg and Miss Jean Clark, both of Blackball, will he marie. About 60 witnesses will he called from as far north as Auckland and as far south as Otago. The hearing is expected to last four to five days.
