VALUES IN LONDON. v BUTTER MARKET ACTIVE. RISE IN TRICE. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 19, 9.50 a.m. LONDON, July. 18. During the past week the London butter market has been firm in tone and active. On the cheese market a quiet tone has been ruling. Present quotations are as follow, those for the previous week being given in parentheses : Danish, 102 s (98s to 995). Choicest salted: New Zealand, 89s to 90s (89s to 90s) ; Australian, 80s to 87s (86s to 87s). Unsalted: New Zpaland, 94s to 96s (92s to 945) ; Australian, 86s to 87s (87s). Cheese.—New Zealand : White, 44s (44s 6d to 455) ; coloured, 43s 6d (44s to 44s 6d). Australian: White, 41s to 42s (not quoted) ; coloured, 41s to 42s (not quoted).
