SEQUEL TO RAID.
GAMING CHARGES LAID. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 19., Two Chinese whose premises in Haining Street were raided by the police yesterday were fined £25 and £lO respectively, in default one month and 21 days’ gaol respectively. Four Europeans who were found on the premises were fined £2, in default i days. The charges were laid under the Gaming Act.
