FAREWELL FUNCTION.
POSTMASTER AT HAMUA. Per Press Association. EKETAHUNA, July 9. Mr A. E. Tuckwell, J.P., who has been for 40 years postmaster at Hamua, was, with Airs Tuckwell, last night farewelled at a large gathering of settlers and received a presentation and many laudatory comments on his past services to the district. A latter was read from the DirectorGeneral of the Post Office, written at the direction of the Postmaster-Gen-eral, in highly appreciative terms of Air TuckweTl’s official services and enclosing a gratuity' in recognition of them.
