CONSECUTIVE SUMMERS. The medical correspondent of the Daily Mail, commenting on the theory that athletes suffer by experiencing consecutive summers, points • out
that the average constitution is not adapted to pass two successive summers without strain to temperament and general health. He says it is nevertheless a fact that the Australian cricketers won the Ashes in England and that England previously won them in Australia. He suggests that an athlete’s adjustment can be completely successful.
