TENNIS CLUB.
END OF SEASON SOOiALi. Members of the Feilding Lawn Tennis Club gathered at the Parish Hall on Tuesday night for tho end of season social and presentation of trophies. An enjoyable time was spent in dancing, and, following the supper interval, Mr AY. E. Carthew (the president) presented the trophies won during the season. He referred to the fact that the closing day function had not been hold owing to weather conditions, the committee deciding to hold the social at which the trophies would be presented. To the successful members the president extended his congratulations and handed over the prizes to the following winners: —Ladies’ senior championship (Carthew Cup and trophy), Airs A AValdin; runner-un, Aliss_ B. Eliott (tropov presented by Airs AA : . H. Rutherford'; men’s senior championship (Coutts Cup and trophy), K. G. Salmond ; ladies’ junior championship (cup presented by Air and Airs AV. H. Rutheford). Aliss A. Ellerni; men’s junior championship, P. C. "Wilkinson ; ladies’ doubles. Mesdames AValdin and Caldwell; men’s doubles, G. Darragli and R. Humphrey; mixed doubles, K. Kilgour and ATiss N. Rutheford; ladies’ handicap singles, Miss N. Burke; men’s handicap singles, C. It. Tate; girls’ A grade singles, Joan Garlick; girls’ B grade singles, Mona Le Cren.
