GAME AT WANGANUI.
TECHNICAL SCHOOL WIN. The annual Rugby match between tlie second fifteens of the Palmerston North High School and the Wanganui Technical College was played at Wanganiu yesterday, when a closely fought game resulted in a win for the home team by .10 points to 8. Technical held the upper hand in the early stages, hut some 20 minutes elap’sod before they opened their account with a try wide out. An excellent kick added the major points. The equalising try came when Sutton whipped round the side of a scrum close to the line to go over. Anderson converted to place the sides on terms at the interval. In the second spell the High School backs commenced to operate nicely and n pretty movement, in which the whole line handled, saw Scott cross in tho corner. The kick failed. High School retained their lead till within a quarter of an hour of time, when from a scrum the Wanganui half-hack nipped over, and the kick at goal enabled the home team to take the honours: Wanganui 10, High School 8.
