WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE.

YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. The Wellington Stock Exchange market yesterday was quiet, with prices showing little change. Government loans were in strong demand, with few sellers in tho market. Bank -shares again met a good demand, Reserve Bank shares changing hands at £6 9s 3d and £6 9s 6d. Commercial of Sydney advanced further, buyers offering £l7 12s 6d and sollers holding for 10s more, while buyers of New South Wales advanced their offers 2s 6d to £3l 15s, sellers holding for £32 10s. New Zealand were easier with sollers at 52s 3d and no buyers. In tho remaining sections there was little quotable change. Gear Meat changed hands at 21s 3d. and Staples Brewery at 35s 9d. Dunlop were done at 16s Id, and National Electric at lls. There was a sale of Okarito at 5s 9d. YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS.
