WAGE RESTORATION.

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD.

A restoration of the reductions made in the salaries of its employees from 1931 to 1933 was agreed u lion by the Auckland Harbour Board. With the exception of the higher-paid officers the salaries have now been restored to the full amount paid before the reductions were made. A decision was also made to restore 6 per cent, to all employees on hourly wages which removes the previous reduction. The adjustments will take effect from Alonday. The amount involved will be about £6300 a year.
