APPEAL DISMISSED.

ENGLISH MURDER CASE. Received June 25, 9.50 a.m. LONDON, June 24. Ruling out the plea that Mrs Rattenby and Stoner should have been tried separately for the murder of Mr Ratteiiby, the Chief Justice, Lord Hewart, dismissed the appeal without hearing the Crown and without permitting Stoner to give evidence. Crowds queued up for hours. Mrs Van Der Elst sat with Stoner’s counsel and paraded sandwichinen at the entrances to the Court in continuation of her campaign against capital punishment.
