CHINESE REBELS.
TRANSFER INTENDED. HONG KONG, June 24. Admiral Chen, Vice-Minister of the Navy, who is aboard the Northern waship Ninghai, states that the presence of Northern warships in Hong Kong Harbour is purely to effect the safe transfer of rebels on the two rebel cruisers to the Central Government. No affront to Canton is intended.
