LONGBURN.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) LONGBURN, May 24
On Wednesday evening members of the Longbum Methodist Sunbeam Club gave a- kitchen tea for Miss R. Marshall, who is shortly to be married. There was a large attendance of friends, and Mis* Marshall received many useful gifts. The programme was arranged by Miss R. Birch, and the time was happily spent in games, and competitions. A duet was rendered by Misses V. Zurcher and J. Biel, and songs by Miss Bireh. Competitions were won by Miss Birch and Miss M. Johnston. At a suitable juncture Rev. H. L. Richards, on behalf of her many friends, wished Miss Marshall every happiness in her future life. Mrs Da\e>. leader of the Sunbeam Club, extended congratulations and made recfrcnco to the manner in which the guest of honour had helped the r'nli at nil times. Mr K. Langkilde. replying on behalf of Miss Marshall, thanked ilio.-c present for the useful gifts and the speakers for thoir kind remarks. Musical honourn were accorded me guest ot honour.
