RETURNS FOR FEBRUARY. BIG INCREASES SHOWN. LESS WOOL AND MEAT. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received March 15, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, March 14. Tlie Board of Trade returns for February show a total of imports of £56,302,000, exports £34,097,000, and re-exports £4,408,000. The principal increases, as compared with February of last years are:— Imports.—Other food, £493,000; tobacco, £967,000; rubber, £501,000; non-ferrous metals and manufactures, £349,000. Exports.—Wool, £271,000; iron and steel and manufactures thereof, £474,000: ferrous metals and manufactures, £370,000; machinery, £840,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £419,000; woollen worsteds and manufactures, £406,000; vehicles, £44,000. Decreases are as follow; Imports.—Meat, £458,000; ,cotton, £792,000; wool, £2,635,000. Exports.—Beverages and cocoa preparations, £487,000; coal, £409,000.
