ORDER FROM JAPAN.
PIG IRON SHIPMENT. Received March 14. 11.5 a.m. NEWCASTLE, March 14. Japan, which has been buying large quantities of scrap iron from Australia, has now placed an order for 15,000 tons of pig iron with the Broken Hill Proprietary’s steelworks.
