SALE AT SHOWGROUNDS. A DULL MARKET. A sale of pedigree stud pigs was conducted at the Showgrounds to-day by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., when a catalogue of 106 lots was submitted to the bench of buyers. Included in the list were animals of tlie Taniworth, Large Black, Large White, and Berkshire breeds, the property of vendors from Feikliug, Tokomaru, Kairanga, Sanson, Kiwitea, Glen Orona, Ashhurst, Uniutaoroa, Tiakitahuna. Kauwhata, Dannevirke, Kopane, and Palmerston North, but the market proved to be somewhat dull. several oi the lots failing to change hands at the prices offered. Mr J. D.
