BURIED ALIVE.
OCCURRENCE AT AFGHANISTAN. Received March 13, 9.50 a.m. KABUL, March 12. The newspapers record an amazing occurrence in an Afghan village, reported to be confirmed as substantially true by the local . officials. A middle-aged Moslem woman recently died and was interred in the village burial ground. Three days later a relative who went to pray over the grave heard sounds and had the grave opened. The woman was discovered to be alive. She was suffering from the effects of her interment, but completely recovered after treatment.
