CROQUET TOURNEY.
WIN TO MRS MORGAN. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 12. The weather was wet on the fifth day of the New Zealand croquet tourney. In the men’s singles LieutenantColonel Du Pre (England) heat Mr H. P. Stratton (Hawke’s Bay), the captain of the Dominion team to Melbourne, 26—15. The other two Englishmen met, Mr IL Poulter heating Mr E. Ward-Petley, 26—10. In the ladies’ singles Mrs Healey heat Miss Washer (Patea), 26 —22. In th-3 level singles Mrs Morgan (Manawatu) beat Mrs Jackson, 26—10.
