ASKED TO LEAVE.
A DANCE SENSATION. OPOTIKI, March 11. A sensational development took place at a dance hall at Opotiki on Saturday night, when, it is understood, as the result of a complaint made to the police, constables visited the hall in question and requested a number of scantily-attired young women to leave the building. The dance, which was in progress at the time, is stated to have been a novelty one called the “beach dance.”
