ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.

NEW CADET I V ISION. A decision to form a cadet division of the St. John Ambulance Division in Palmerston North was made at a well attended meeting held last evening. Superintendent W. 11. Barnard was the chairman. In the course of the meeting it was stated that 16 cadet divisions had been formed last year in tlie Dominion. The aims and objects of a cadet division were explained by the chairman and 40 hoys handed in their names as members of the division which is to he known as the Palmerston North cadet ambulance division, and lectures were arranged. The appointments of a bugler and a drummer were held over.
