ST. BRIGID’S v. ST. PATRICK’S.

On the St. Brigid’s Club courts at the week-end, a further match in the New Zealand Catholic Lawn Tennis Association’s district competition was played, the homo side beating St. Patrick’s A team, Palmerston North, by the narrow margin of three games. Both sides won 12 sets, but St. Brigid’s prevailed by 114 games to 111. The local club is now leading in the competition, having defeated both Palmerston North teams as well as Levin and tho Wanganui B team.
