SHOW SUCCESSES.
At the Rangitilcei A. and P. Show, which was held at Taihape on Thursday, the following exhibitors were successful in the light horse sections: —Open pony jump: H. M. Blundell’s De Wet 1. High jump for ponies, the awards being made after a very hard fought contest: J. Goodwin’s Rajah 1. H. M. Blunden’s Parakino 2. Saddle ponies, open pony 14.2 or under: Miss Doris koung's Larrikin 1. and Silver 2. Best paced and mannered pony, 14.2 or under: Miss I>. Young’s Silver 1. Pony 13.2 and under 14.2, to b e ridden by boy or girl under 16 years: Miss D. Young’s Silver 1. Best rider in above class: J. Goodwin 1. Champion pony, Miss D. Young’s Silver. Weight carrying cob, 14.3 and under: Miss D. Young’s Larrikin 2, and Silver 3. In the ladies’ hunting competitions, Miss D. Young was again very successful, riding the first, second-and third horses. Miss Young was adjudged the best rider in the above competition and second ill the flat riding competition. In the dual .jumping competition Miss Young was again the winner.
