THIS MORNING’S RESULTS. Play was continued yesterday in the Manawatu Croquet Association’s tournament with cooler weather prevailing. Results of play up to 1 o’clock are as follow: —- OPEN SINGLES. First round. —Mrs T. Simpson 26, beat Mrs Mitchell, 18. Second round. —rMr C. Bryan 26 beat Airs E. Simpson 24. HANDICAP SINGLES. A GRADE. Second round. —Mrs E. Simpson 26 beat Airs T. Simpson 9. B GRADE. Semi-final. —Airs Lee 26 beat Airs Murray 21. ‘HANDICAP SINGLES. . C GRADE. Semi-final.—Airs Goukl 26 beat Airs Nielsen 24. HANDICAP DOUBLES. Second round. —Alesdames Brown and Batchelor 23 beat Alesdames Nicholson and Kirk 9. Semi-final. —Alesdames Petrie and Manning 26 heat Airs Dickel and Aliss Read 8.
