BRITAIN’S BEST CUSTOMERS. LONDON, Feb. 15. . The city editor of the Daily Express, analysing tlie Board of Trade returns, says that British countries overseas are still Britain’s best customers. India’s purchases in 1934 totalled £36,500.000, South Africa’s £30,250,000, Australia’s £26,250,000 and Canada’s £l9 750,000 compared with the United States £17,500,000, France £16,750,000, and the Argentine £14.750,000. The Empire’s purchases from Britain in 1934 showed an increase of £21,000,000 over 1933, Foreigners’ purchases increased by £6,000,000.
