HOROWHENUA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Fob. 12. The funeral of Mr Tama. Parata, tbo well-known representative footballer, took place at Waikanae on Friday, when tbo body was laid to rest in the family cemetery. There was a representative attendance, the Rugby Union being represented by its president (Rev. Father Riordan), and Messrs Procter and Robinson. Rev. Paora Tcnniera officiated at tho gravoside.
