IN CHINA SEAS. CLAIMED AS PRIZE. A PECULIAR CASE. (United Press Association--By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received Jannarv 19, 8.55 a.m. HONGKONG, Jan. 19. Six Japanese have boarded the vessel Toa Maru (3COO tons), which aas towed to Hongkong by a Chinese steamer which found her adrift in the China Seas with nobody aboard and claimed her as a prize. The vessel was recently purchased by Japanese Interests Amoy and was being towed to Japan when she broke adrift. The Japanese had remained aboard for eight hours when a British officer who had been placed in charge of the vessel ordered the whole lot off. The Japanese then went ashore.
