OUTLINE OF POLICY. Received January 18, 12.5 p.niOTTAWA, Jan. 17. In the Speech from the Throne at the opening of Parliament members were asked to consider policies designed to consolidate and expand the Empire trade agreements and increase world trade generally. The policy of the Government would he to work towards arms reduction, stabilised international economic relations, also unemployment and health insurance, improved old age pensions, and a minimum wage and maximum working week.
