NEW ZEALAND DOCTOR. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 17. Advice has been received that in the recent primary examination for the F.It.C.S. degree in London, Dr Russell Fraser, son of Mr Malcolm Fraser, Under-Secretary for Internal Affairs, headed the list and gained the Hallett Prize. Dr Fraser, who is ill his twentyseventh year, had a distinguished career at the Otago Medical School, passing all the professional examinations with top marks. Nine months ago he proceeded on a travelling scholarship to London, where he has since been engaged on post-primary research work. Word was also received that Dr Fraser had been appointed physician at the new post-graduate hospital at Hammersmith, where lie assumes his duties on February 1.
