MAGNIFICENT SIGHT.
VESSEL AT MILFORD SOUND. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Jan. 17. The Malieno, which arrived from Melbourne at 1 o’clock this morning with 370 passengers, including 157 Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, called at Milford Sound on Wednesday morning. Though light rain was falling the visitors obtained a magnificent view of the cascades and falls down the mountainside. An American visitor, Father T. Collen, said lie was certain that if tlie sc-enic attractions of the Dominion were known in America many who now went to Europe would visit the Dominion Six passengers disembarked at Millord to walk across the track. The Malieno brought Australian mail and 850 tons of cargo for all ports.
