PROJECT IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wirelesss.) RUGBY, Nov. 29. Asked in Parliament whether, in view of this week’s railway accident at a level crossing at Wormley, in which an engine-driver and a fireman lost their lives, he would take measures to abolish level crossings, the Minister of Transport (Mr L. Hore-Belislia) explained that the road across the railway at this place was not a public one, but a private farm track. In order to expedite the abolition of level crossings, however, lie would make a grant to local authorities from, the road_ fund pf 75 per cent of the cost of constructing road bridges across railways.
