COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 30. The first application for a commercial Hying license under the Transport Licensing of Commercial Aircraft Act of this year was granted by the Transport Co-ordination Board today to East Coast Airways, Ltd., for a service between Gisborne and Napier or Hastings with De. Havilland Dragon two-engined machines capable of carrying ten passengers. _ An application for a similar license by Air Travel (New Zealand) Ltd., on the West Coast is being heard.
