NAVAL AIR ARM.
THE MINISTRY’S INTENTIONS. Received November 20, 12.15 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 19. The Star says the Air Ministry has decided to increase the strength of the fleet air arm abroad and concentrate all home squadrons on the South Coast of England. A squadron of four-engined high-speed flying boats is almost completed and will fly to Singapore in December to be handed over to the Air Force there. A torpedo and bombing squadron at present stationed in Scotland as being transferred to the great new aerodrome at Thorney Island. Other squadrons are also being transferred to the South Coast in order to increase their range of action across the sea.
