EARTH TREMORS.

IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Received November 13, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. L‘3. Reports of earth tremors have been received from districts on the Southern Tablelands. , At Gunning—where tremors were experienced some months ago—a severe shock lasted about 30 seconds. Houses were shaken and plaster fell from the walls. Minor vibrations occurred during the day, causing alarm among the residents.

People rushed from their homes at Avoca when a severe shock was felt there. Cracks two inches wide appeared on the Hume highway, one of the main roads from Sydney to Melbourne. Goulburn also experienced slight tremors.
