KINGSFORD SMITH’S ACTIVITIES. (.United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph..—Copyright.) Received November 13, 2.5 p.m. LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith flew to Oakland to-day to act as honorary marshal at the Armistice Day parade and visit his brother, after which he returned here. He announced that he expects to fly to New York some time this week. TASMAN FLIGHT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 13. Officials of the Auckland Aero Club said this afternoon that they expect the ’plane Tainui with Messrs Hewett and ICay, will fly the Tasman to-mor-row.
