INJURED BY BULL.
MISHAP TO FARMER,
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 11
Internal injuries were suffered by Robert Meynall, 42, a married man, through being gored by a champion Ayrshire bull at the farm of his sister, Mrs Taylor, Mount Albert. Mr Meynall had come to Auckland to attend the wedding of his son. He went into the paddock to-day to see how the animal compared with one of its own progeny he has on his farm, and was holding the bull by the horns when it suddenly wrenched free and gored him. One of the horns struck Mr Meynall in the side, inflicting a wound. Mr Meynall was rendered unconscious by the fall, but the bull did not attack him again.
