WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. A shallow depression is passing very slowly across the Dominion, but pressure generally is rather uniform in surrounding regions with little storm activity. Forecast: Moderate northerly winds, changing later to southerlies. Weather: Mainly fair to fine, hut brief and scattered showers likely at times. Temperatures, becoming rather cooler. Seas, rough in parts of the straits, otherwise moderate. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—lft.
