acorn lodge, U.A.O.D
The regular meeting of the above lodge was held on Friday in the Coronation Hall, Terrace End. A.B. Bro. Blackwell presided over a good attendance. Visitors included J.P.A. bio. Tbesman, of Ngahoe Lodge, Taumarunui who described Druid activities in his district. Several bowling challenges were received and accepted, also an invitation to a social evening from Orient Lodge. The delegates- to the Dispensary Board and F.S Council maue thenreports and were accorded a vote of thanks. The meeting closed with a v<pte of thanks to the visitors, after which a cribbage match with Orient Lodge took place. Acorn won the shield by the narrow margin of one game. Ail enjoyable evening was terminated with supper.
