JOURNALISTS IN SPAIN.
MANY ARRESTS MADE

LONDON, Nov. 8. The Madrid correspondent of the Times . says that constant complaints regarding information published abroad being made by the Spanish Press culminated in the arrest of many newspaper correspondents. .Mr Reginald Calvert, of the Daily’ Telegraph, was taken from his home, but the British Embassy later secured his release. Mademoiselle Thierry, correspondent for l’Oeuvre, was arrested and expelled, due, it is believed to articles on the Catalonian situation. Other journalists have been arrested and expelled from Spain as undesirables.
