WANGANUI SHOW.
At the Wanganui A. and P. Association’s Show yesterday, the Marton breeder, Mr A. L. Wheeler, took second prize in the class for the most outstanding Romney sheep in the Show, and won the championship in the open section with his shorn ewe under 18 months. In the West Coast hunters’ jumping competition, Mr J. J. Waller, of Awapum, took second place with his wellknown performer, Frisco Jack, the winner being Mr W. G. Bason’s Gay Boy. Mrs P. S. Lacey, of Whakarongo, who was a successful exhibitor in the
dog show, secured second awards in the Sporting Dog Stakes and the Sinclair Memorial Stakes, both being special classes.
