Received November 8, 8.15 a.m. PERTH, Nov.. 8. Customs officers refused to allow a passenger by the Strathaird, Egon Edwin Kisch, author and journalist, to land. Nil' Kisch, who is a Czechoslovakian, had arranged a lecture tour in Australia. He had intended to represent the International Committee Against War and Fascism at the Congress Against War in Melbourne next Saturday.

The New Zealand delegate to the congress was not permitted to land at Sydney and was returned to the Dominion.
