PLAYING AT PALMERSTON NORTH

Per - Press Association. WELLINGTON. Nov. 6 The itinerary for the British go team’s visit to New Zealand was submitted to a meeting of the Eew Zea land Golf Council to-night. It piovides for the team going straight down to Mount Cook for a couple of days upon its arrival ill New Zealand, and thence to Dunedin, where the first match will bo played on Saturday, December 10, and then to Timaru, Christehuich, and Wellington. Arriving at Rotorua on December 24, they will play a match there on Boxing Day and then travel to New Plymouth, via the Waitomo Caves. , ... tit The team will play at New Plymouth. Wanganui, and Manawatu, and leave Palmerston North for Auckland on January 3, playing a match against an all-New Zealand team at Auckland on Saturday and Monday, January 5 and 7, singles on the Satuiday and foursomes on the Monday. The programme ’is subject to the dates fitting in with the date of the departure of the Englishmen, as to which the council lias not yet been definitely advised.
