THE ARMS CONFERENCE.

GREAT BRITAIN’S DELEGATES. (British Official Wireless.) Received May 24, 10.45 a.m. RUGBY, May 23. Sir John Simon will leave London on Sunday for Geneva, where he will lead the British delegation at the resumption of the Disarmament Conference on Tuesday. He will be joined there by Mr R. A. Eden, who has left Geneva for a few days’ holiday in the South of France. THE BRITISH NAYY. ASSURANCE OF EFFICIENCY. LONDON, May 23. Mr Hector Bywater, in the Daily Telegraph, reveals that the Government, in view of a possible breakdown of the Disarmament Conference, has been quietly reviewing its naval resources besides those of aviation.
