THE HILLS OVERLOOKING CHRISTCHURCH COVERED WITH A HEAVY COATING OF SNOW.—Christchurch experienced a real winter's dap last Friday , when heavy sleet and snow showers swept the city. The storm was particularly severe at Cashmere and throughout the morning the hills were only visible for short periods. This photograph was taken in the early afternoon from the balcony of the Anglican Cathedral .
