THE MELBOURNE MARKET. Received May 4, 10.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, May 4. The wheat market is inactive, shippers having reached their limits at 2s 4£d and parcels at 2s 51d. Flour is £7, bran £4 ss, and pollard £4 15s per ton. Oats are 2s 'ld. Barley (English malting) 2s 7d to 2s 9d, and maize (best) 3s 6d per bushel. Onions are in strong demand. Prime, £4 to £4 5s per ton.
