AUCKLAND MILK.
SCALE OF PRICES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 4. The Auckland Milk Council, this morning, after a long discussion in which sectional interests were apparent, decided for the price of milk to the consumer at 5d per quart loose and sld bottled. Vendors may, at their discretion, supply relief workers with milk at 4d.
The council also resolved to grant to tho Hospital Board and other charitable institutions the right to contract for supplies at Is per gallon. It was further decided that the producer shall receive 9d per gallon and the vendor Sid, while 2Jd was allocated for cartage and treatment.
