BOOK EARLY FOR TO-NICHTI BOX PLANS AT THEATRE. ’PHONE 5599. tifip Si m A Saturday Afternoon RESCUE ABOUT five year* ago an A.M.P. representative (out for a drive with hi* wife) asked his way from a man who was repairing his fowl-run. After he had obtained directions he complimented the man on his home. This led to confidences. The home was mortgaged. The mortgage was not covered by Assurance.’ The man did not think that it paid to be assured. When the A.M.P. representative left that garden he had arranged for two A.M.P. policies: one to wipe out the mortgage, the other to protect the wife and family. A few months ago the man died unexpectedly. His death was a tragedy, but not so great a tragedy as it would have been if the A.M.P. representative had nfct called on that Saturday afternoon. Although only five years’ premiums had been paid, £558/4/- was immediately available to wipe out the mortgage, and £1,116/8/- (the second policy plus bonuses) was paid to the widow. No man ever regrets investigating the benefits of membership in the A.M.P. Ask the nearest representative of the Society to explain them, or send for a copy of “Investing in Happiness.” It is free, and it may effect a "rescue” in your home. „ AMP SOC I ETY LARGEST MUTUAL LIFE OFFICE IN THE EMPIRE. or further particulars consult E.
